ABSTRACT

Objective:To construct a prediction model of inadvertent perioperative hypothermia in patients under general anesthesia , and to apply to clinic to verify its performance. Methods:The data of 19 068 surgical patients in a Grade Ⅲ Class A hospital in Zhejiang Province from January 2016 to September 2020 were included. The model was constructed by using artificial intelligence technology based on deep learning, and the prediction effect of the model was tested by using the area under the subject operating characteristic curve and decision curve. Totally 2 157 surgical patients were included from October 2020 to March 2021 to test the prediction accuracy of the model. Results:The incidence of hypothermia was 13.89% (2 649/19 068) in the modeling group and 14.18% (306/2 157) in the validation group. The area under the subject operating characteristic curve of the prediction model was 0.724 (95% CI: 0.707-0.741), the sensitivity was 0.516, the specificity was 0.823, the cut-off value was 0.175, and the accuracy of practical application was 79.54%. Conclusions:This model can stably predict the incidence of perioperative inadvertent hypothermia in patients under general anesthesia, and provide reference for clinical prevention of inadvertent perioperative hypothermia.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the clinical efficiency and security of Fe(OH) 3-sncrose-compond combined with erythropoietin on renal anemia. Methods 30 cases of oral iron combined with erythropoietin in the unsatisfactory uremia patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis, the cases were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group(n =16) using intravenous sucrose iron 100mg,twice a week, after a total of 1000mg,then l00mg,once 1 -2 weeks;the control group(n =14) continue to oral:ferrous succinate 0.2g,three times everyday, erythropoietin dose was the same in lothgroups for g weeks. Results Hemoglobin was significantly higher(P < 0.01) and hematocrit was significantly higher(P <0.01),and serum ferritin significant increased(P <0.0l) in sucrose iron treatment group than these of the control group;the patients of treatment group have obviously improved in spirit, appetite, physical and life quality and so on.Sometimes, nausea, vomiting, skin itching were complained lut without significant side effects. While in the control group limited increase in the level of hemoglobin was seen, the majority had nausea, abdominal discomfort, poor appetite. Conclusion The efficiency of intravenous sucmfer combined with erythropoietin in treatment of renal anemia was effective than conventional oral iron combined with erythropoietin and with fewe adverse reactions.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To study the antiinflammatory and analgesic effect of Jingangteng dispersible tablet (JDT). METHODS:The antiinflammatory effect of JDT was studied on pinna swelling model mice, the voix pedis swelling model rats and the cotton ball granuloma model rats; the writhing experiment in mice was done to study the analgesic effect of JDT, with Jingangteng capsule(JC) as a positive control. RESULTS:JDT significantly inhibited mice's swelling of pinna induced by xylene, rats' swelling of the voix pedis induced by albumen, rats' granulomatous accrementition induced by cotton ball as well as mice's writhing response induced by acetic acid, with effects superior to those of JC(P

ABSTRACT

Objective To design a system for monitoring pulse wave transit time (PWTT) in working condition non-intrusively and continuously. Method The system was composed of wireless ECG sensor and wireless pulse wave sensor which measure pulse wave signal from the temporal artery and ECG signal from body synchronously and calculates PWTT continuously. Result Both the wireless ECG sensor and the wireless pulse wave sensor were small sized and powered by button battery. And the accuracy of time synchronization about sensors was less than 1 ms. The calculated PWTT changed slowly with deep breathing. Conclusion The system works smoothly for continuous monitoring of PWTT in working condition.

ABSTRACT

Induced-current electrical impedance tomography (ICEIT) is a newly hot research field in electrical impedance tomography (EIT) because of its advantages of contactless exciting. A preliminary ICEIT system with 3 excitation coils has been accomplished. It includes the constant current source (CCS), power amplifiers, excitation coils, physical phantom, measurement-mode setting circuit, signal measuring block, DAC and digital I/O card. The CCS is accomplished with Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technique. Its frequency is 46.875 KHz. Its output current is divided into 16 steps from 0.16 mA to 2.56 mA which can be set by computer. The three driving coils have the same diameter of 50 cm, each coil's inductance is 193.5 microH. The power amplifier can provide 800 mA driving current (f = 46.875 KHz) to the coil under +/- 25 V power supplying. The signal from measurement electrodes is switched to measurement channel which includes IA, BP filter and synchronized demodulator, then the analog signal is converted to digital signal by a 12b A/D Card and the data is acquired by DMA mode. Our experiments show that a distinguish change of signal from the surface electrodes can be acquired by the experimental system when different objects are placed in the physical phantom. And 3 x 31 signals for preliminary imaging have been acquired.

ABSTRACT

Objective To design a device sampling Korotkoff's sound signal and acquiring blood pressure based on Korotkoff theory. Methods The author sampled Korotkoff's sound signal via microphone, and then according the cuff pressure corresponding to signal appearance and disappearance, the author acquired SBP and DBP.At last, the author validated the creditability by contrasting with the results of auscultatory method. Results The difference of SBP and DBP is near nonexistence, the blood pressure data using this device is creditable. Conclusion The blood pressure can be measured using this device, and it can be used to further study the auto-measurement of blood pressure base on Korotkoff's sound theory.

ABSTRACT

The in vivo measurements of rabbit brain tissue impedance were taken under both normal and ischemic conditions by using two-electrode measurement method in the frequency range from 0.1 Hz to 1 MHz. The dynamic images about the resistivity of cerebral ischemia were reconstructed based on a 16-electrode system. The results of in vivo measurement showed that the ratio of impedance increased can be as high as 75% at frequencies lower than 10 Hz. In the range from 1 KHz to 1 MHz, the ratio showed a constant value of 15%. The electrical impedance tomography (EIT) images obtained suggested that the regions of impedance changes highly correspond to the position of ischemia. It is confirmed that the brain function changes caused by local deficiency of blood can be detected and imaged by EIT method.

ABSTRACT

The human skull impedance was quantitatively measured by means of Frequency Response Analyzer and its software. The impedance-frequency response curves of human skull were obtained. By analyzing the curves, we found that the characteristic frequency of human skull should be around 10 KHz.

ABSTRACT

A continuous noninvasive method for blood pressure (BP) estimation by pulse wave transit time (PWTT) is described. A constant linear relation is available between PWTT and BP, but characteristic parameter for the relation is different for different persons. According to hydrostatics, BP in some vessel changes with different body postures. In this paper, the difference, i.e. △BP, between two BP values with different body postures is gained. ECGs and surface pulse waves are also obtained, and then values of PWTT are calculated. Through the A BP and PWTT acquired above, parameter b of BP equation can be determined, and then parameter a is computerized through the measurements and one BP value. Thus a BP equation is got, which can be used to estimate BP values through continuous measurement of PWTT. Compared with the value from invasive BP measurement, the value from this method has an error rate less than 5%. The method is feasible for noninvasive continuous BP monitoring.
